Recorded in our living room in a series of live takes in October 2011, "FOUND" is our second collection of meandering anecdotes plucked from dreamscapes and tall tales and delivered, signature required, to your doorstep, to have coffee with you on your front porch.

Track Name: Meanwhile
Came home in a thunderstorm and a red beret
I was sad that I had not seen you in several days
but waiting on my doorstep was your familiar face
and in it a pair of brown eyes that had since turned grey

even though the hard times I've lived through were self-imposed
you knew somehow that our friendship would fulfill us both
you heard all my secrets and you kept them close
swore an oath so solemn that it just never broke

oh I sure made my bed but you were so content to lie beneath it...

but now it's time to say goodbye for the meanwhile

oh I sure made my bed but you were so content to lie beneath it...

so won't you save my address and keep a few stamps on hand
in case you get to those heaven's gates and they're far too pretty to keep from a close friend

oh I sure made my bed but you were so content to lie beneath it...
Track Name: Velvet
We were dressed like summer camp, swimming in the oil paint
and the leaves were dripping pigment onto the river lying underneath
we were paddling our wooden boat through the cliffs cloaked in violet
making wishes with our eyes closed that if this is a dream we never want to see it end

we were painted on velvet, two figures in the rivulet
it was you, it was you, it was you, I felt it

but the cliffs began to crumble and the rivers fall right off the side
and they plummet into the abyss with all the tears I've aplenty cried
you were shearing through the cloaked sun and prickling my eyelids
but when I awoke you were gone; I thought if this is my fate I never want to live to see it

we were painted on velvet, two figures in the rivulet
it was you, it was you, it was you, I felt it
Track Name: Papier Mache
oh the ink you've laid to waste on the papier mache
to commemorate a feature that wasn't made to stay
and you were left feeling empty sitting staring at the shape
of a mountain or a lover, they were one in the same
but baby we could turn those mountains from paper into stone
if we study the wind as it circles 'round the bones
that decorate the peak at the feet of the gods
that await with baited breath for the tick of the clock

tick tock, tick tock, we can run but it won't stop

but before they speak, before the ultimatum
before the eruption, before the transformation
'fore the moment we must pack our good times and sweaters
in one little suitcase for this journey together
I promise to frame every page that you've torn
from the book of your musings on the day we were born
and I'll read them aloud as you're falling fast asleep
so perhaps you will remember who you are and who you'll be without me

tick tock, tick tock, we can run but it won't stop

just in case on the way we get separated I will draw you a map where I will be waiting...

tick tock, tick tock, we can run but it won't stop
